Another option to help you recover after a workout is to do some stretches. Not only is it recommended that you stretch before exercising, but you should also do it in between workouts. Stretch slowly instead of doing something too demanding. It can improve flexibility and lowers inflammation. One form of stretching is yoga. Be sure to have a mat to make it easier on your joints. You should do yoga at least once a week for thirty minutes.
